Takkya Furniture was founded in 2012 in the United Arab Emirates, bringing a fresh and unique furniture concept to the UAE and Gulf region. The word "Takkya" means cushion in Arabic, and though it's pronounced differently in various parts of the Arab world, it generally refers to a larger cushion used for back or side support.

At Takkya, we wanted to bring new life to this traditional cushion by adapting it to modern furniture. Our collections are inspired by the classic Takkya cushion, combining traditional design with modern style. To create indoor and outdoor furniture, where we use high-quality materials of wood and fabrics, along with beautiful embroidery and careful craftsmanship, to create pieces that connect the past with the present.
